Hello everyone my name is Zion
I currently own a 09 gt 6spd
I brought it off a member named austin in the 4g club on fb im not sure if he is on here though.
So from my understanding the car already has a built motor and can be boosted. However as of right now Im not going to boost it, I need to fix it up before. I have an exhaust leak so the car shakes alot at idle. It does run really really good though like I kept up with g35 with light mods. I was thinking of first doing tires. Im going with some Michelin pilot sports a/s3+. Next is intake im not sure exactly what I want with intake though, dc is very affordable but one thing about mitsubishi is that you cant buy cheap stuff. I learned on a 2g gst lol. Then eventually getting some rre headers, I know to do the motor mounts, spark plugs and coil packs when doing the headers as well. Any other things I should look out for. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the club!
If an exhaust leak is making it shake at idle, I can only imagine the hell it's doing for your air fuel ratios. So it's between the O2 sensor and the head that it leaks? It'll sound like a tick, or a hiss with how severe yours sounds to be.
Find out what parts were used in the engine build. It'll help you in the future, especially when deciding how far you go with the boost, and with tuning (even NA)

So the car isn't supercharged anymore. so disregard the BOV, FMIC. I still have the setup for the meth but its not currently in use right now.

No APR mains, or head bolts? Did he tell you which BC rods he used? There's a pretty substantial difference between the 2 levels they offer. Knowing if he used upgraded bearings or not is a nice thing, but not NEEDED. OEM style just wear on the crankshaft more and stress it with extra flex.
But, even with what's shown, it seems like a nice step above OEM for handling boost. Throw 10-15psi at it and see what happens!

I meant ARP. ARP is a company that makes fasteners. Really highly rated ones, aerospace and up. The main studs they offer are for the part that holds the crankshaft in place. The head studs hold your heads on. The rods come with either "low" grade ARP bolts rated for I think 150hp each (so still 800hp on the V6) or the higher grade at >250hp each (no set limit, but they WILL break eventually).
Too much boost and you may see the stock head bolts unable to hold the head down due to stretching under force. Head studs allow for extra force applied to holding the head(s) down, as well as have less stretch than OEM.
You'll want to throw some boost into that motor if you want to make power. Stock is something like 10.8:1 or 11.8:1, something fairly high. High compression makes an engine more efficient, adding power and fuel economy. But makes it more prone to knock, aka pre ignition. It's when the fuel ignites before the spark, and is very violent. That's known as the "static" compression ratio. When you add boost, you create a dynamic compression ratio. At 1 bar (atmospheric pressure) you have only the static ratio. At 1 bar boost (so 2 bar of manifold pressure) you have double the air in there. That significantly increases the pressure, as well as under compression stroke it adds to it. As compression rises, you need to use a higher octane fuel. Octane is the resistance to combustion. Eg, on my build I plan to run 40-45psi boost, and will be using 110 octane fuel. It'll be nearly straight alcohol. That's at 8.2:1 compression.
Short reason: You make less power and fuel economy than stock. So you may as well take advantage of the build to do something stock can't
