Hey! I'm poonga from club4g, and I noticed one of you had made a forum so I decided to sign up here as well.
I read the replies to my message there, however I am pretty set on the 2006 GT. There are no other options around.

Hey, thanks for registering over here as well
Autoguide owns the rights to the other website, and wasn't letting me get discounts for members anymore. So that was the breaking point there, and why I don't put any guides there anymore.
The more members and activity we have here, the more pull I've got with vendors to get discounts for members

I honestly appreciate that you do this for the community!
Once I do get my eclipse, I'm definitely going to check some of the guides because I plan on doing coilovers, adding a short-throw shifter, and probably performance mod in the future once I take care of maintenance and what not.

Have you driven a 4g yet? They already have quite a short throw

Yeah, it's already nice. Shorter is alright for racing, but if you're a quick shifter as is, you won't see much gain. Shorter loses some accuracy as well, but of course, that can be worked on with practice
